All housing-related products and services as well as plenty of exciting attractions will be presented at the City & Suburb HomeShow. Organizers of the event go to great lengths to attract targeted buyers and respond to their needs by offering activities and special attractions that reflect market trends. The next edition will focus on energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly homes. The Show is divided into five main sections according to exhibitors’ specialties.

  1. Condos: brings together construction companies, promoters and coop projects
  2. Suburbs: focuses on construction companies, promoters and the best single-family building projects
  3. Specialized services: An entire room is devoted to companies and organizations providing professional products and services, including architecture, design, government services, finance, mortgages and insurance.
  4. Housing-related products and materials: This section (the largest) features all the suppliers of specialized products for construction/renovation, including manufacturers and distributors of construction materials and all other products required for building and renovation, from foundation to roof.
  5. Outdoor landscaping: Through up-to-the-minute themes and spectacular displays, visitors will discover the latest trends in landscaping, gardens, patios and green roofs.

Eye-catching activities and attractions:

  • Three energy-efficient homes to visit: Visitors can check out three real-scale energy-efficient homes built using different techniques that vary greatly one from the other. The homes will be entirely decorated, furnished and landscaped in the latest styles.
  • Star projects: The Show will highlight five real-estate developers whose projects stand out for their originality and variety.
  • 55+ Housing communities: Baby boomers looking for a single-family dwelling or a condo adapted to their needs will find a pavilion devoted to the best real-estate projects aimed at people 55 and over.
  • Featured region: The event will give visitors a chance to get to know one of the urban areas making up the Greater Montreal, a region that will be highlighted at the Show. The region will present its real-estate projects, its construction companies and the advantages, attractions and infrastructure of the participating municipalities.
  • Decoration showcases: Fans of decoration and interior design will find on-site experts and manufacturers presenting model kitchens and bathrooms decorated in the latest styles.
  • Green pavilion: brings together objective, non-profit organizations and entities whose purpose is to inform the public about environmental protection, renewable energy and healthy homes. The Green pavilion is a courtesy of Isolation Ippersiel Inc.
  • Free seminars: Consumers will also benefit from valuable advice from speakers who specialize in healthy home construction, the environment and renewable energy, three areas at the heart of the Show’s focus.
  • Hand-picked exhibitors: Over 250 specialized exhibitors will be on site, one third of whom are construction companies and real-estate developers operating in the Greater Montreal area. A real first!
